- Sega announced Sonic The HedgeHog 4: Episode 1 for PSN, Xbox Live Arcade and WiiWare, previously known as Project Needlemouse. The game will be a sequel to the classic Mega Drive/Genesis 2D platformer in HD graphics. The game will be available in summer 2010.
- Famitsu reported that Square Enix is working on 5 unannounced projects, two of the titles will be released in Japan in 2010. There should be a new announcement regarding to Dragon Quest in summer 2010.
- Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase mentioned that a Final Fantasy VII remake would be very difficulty to do for the PS3, because it is hard to recreate the graphics in the same style as the original game and it will take enormous time. There is no FFVII remake in the works for now.
- Tecmo Koei announced a playable demo of Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce is now available on PSN and Xbox Live.
- Bethesda Softworks announced Fallout: New Vegas for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, the sequel to Fallout 3 and it is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The story takes place in Vegas in a post-apocalyptic atomosphere. The game is scheduled for a fall 2010 release.
- THQ announced that Darksiders for PS3 and Xbox 360 have shipped 1.2 million units worldwide.

- Sega and High Voltage Software announced Tournament of Legends for Wii, a 3D tournament fighter featuring characters from various world mythologies, they will fight with weapons and magic spells. Playable characters will include gladiator, Minotaur, Gorgon, Valkyrie and Stone Golem. The game will be available on May 18, 2010.
