Sony will release Killzone Trilogy in North America on Oct 23 and in Europe on Oct 24. The compilation pack includes a 720p HD remake of the original Killzone, which also includes trophy support; in addition Killzone 2 and Killzone 3, along with all multiplayer map packs. Sony also plans to release a HD remake of the first game standalone under the name Killzon HD at some point.

Capcom's Christian Svensson expressed what he thinks is wrong with the Mega Man series, it is because there are too many competing splinter sub-brands under the series. He is unsure about starting another sub-brand within the series would help to get it back on track.

A tech developer named Yifan Lu cliamed that he developed a homebrew launcher program for PS Vita, to allow users to bypass Vita's security to launch homebrew software. He has previously jailbroken Kindle, Habbo Hotel private servers and Xerpia Play.

Capcom CEO and chairman Kenzo Tsujimoto commented in its annual report that Wii U is not a next-gen console. In the report he said "As for the outlook for the next fiscal year, although Nintendo will release the new game console Wii U and the market will be continue to be invigorated by the increase of DLC, time is required before the next generation console cycle begins in earnest."

Capcom said they would like to expand its MMO action game Monster Hunter Frontier to other platforms, the game is currently available on PC and Xbox 360.
