Sega released a new preview video of its PS Vita simulation + action game Samurai & Dragons, from Masayoshi Kikuchi the producer of Ryu-ga Gotoku [Yakuza] series.

Nippon Ichi announced its PS3 tactical RPG Majo to Hyakkihei [The Witch and The Hundred Cavalrymen] will be released in Japan on Jun 28.

Bandai Namco announced that the playable demo of Ace Combat 3D: Cross Rumble for 3DS will only allow 3 plays, after that the game will be removed automatically from the system.

Blizzard's Diablo III community manager Micah Whiple confirmed that Diablo III will be heading to both consoles and PC.

Konami announced that the release date of Silent Hill HD Collection has been pushed back by more than a month from Jan 24 to March 6 in North America.

Sony announced its new smartphone division will be called Sony Mobile Communications, after the acquisition of Ericcson shares. The first phones released by SMC are Xperia ION and Xperia S. Xperia ION will have a 12MP camera and coming out in spring; Xperia S will be out in March, both phones are PlayStation Certified.

Microsoft announced that the motion sensor Kinect for Windows will be coming to Windows on Feb 1 for $250, which comes with an enhanced Kinect camera. It is uncertain whether the Xbox 360 version of Kinect is compatible with the Windows version.

Microsoft announced the worldwide shipment of Xbox 360 has reached 66 millions, and the Kinect sensor has sold 18 million units worldwide.

Sony announced that Netflix streaming service will be available on PlayStation Vita, on time with the North American launch on Feb 22. AT&T also announced two data plans for PS Vita, $14.99 for 250MB/month and $24.99 for 2GB/month, both plans do not require a contract.

Sony Computer Entertainment announced its holiday season sales yesterday, 6.5 million PlayStation brand hardware were sold over the holidays. PS3 sold 3.9 million units, PS Vita sold 500,000 units and PSP sold 1.6 million units. PS3 has met its target sales of 15 million units this fiscal year; and PlayStation Move sold 1.7 million units.

Square Enix announced the playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be available on PSN on Jan 10 today, and on XBL on Jan 11. The game will launch in North America on Jan 31.

Gakken announced its 3DS edutainment title Earthpedia will be released in Japan on Apr 19, for 4980 yen. The software was on indefinite postponement since it was announced over a year ago, but now it's back and ready for launch.
