Famitsu reported that Square Enix is working on an original action RPG, which runs on the Unreal Engine. The game producer is Ryutaro Ichimura. The game will be targeted for the western market, with a core team of 35 staffs, the company is also recruiting programmers, designers and project planners for the project.
Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will cross-over with Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed, Noel will have a downloadable costume based on Ezio's costume from Assassin's Creed: Revelation. No release date has been revealed for the DLC.
In a recent Famitsu interview, Square Enix's The 3rd Birthday producer Hajime Tabata said that he has finished the projects on hand, right now he has some ideas about a sequel to The 3rd Birthday, but he will be working on a new entry in the Final Fantasy Type-0 sub-series. Tabata also mentioned that sales of Type-0 is very good and received good responses from players.

Koei Tecmo announced that Sengoku Musou 3 Z Special will be coming to PSP on Feb 16, for 6090 yen. Konami announced a free demo of New Love Plus will be available on Dec 8 at 7-Eleven convenience store chain, you can download the demo at the new "7 Spot De DS" Wireless Service in the store (Tokyo area only). 7-Eleven will also sell the limited edition New Love Plus theme Nintendo Prepaid Cards on the same day, three versions will be available.
Atlus announced that Level 5's hit soccer RPG will be coming to arcade as card battle soccer game called Inazuma Eleven Go Battle Stadium, you can create team of four to face off either computer or human opponents. The game will be out on Dec 21. The player card pack will be sold for 630 yen.
