- Bandai Namco announced Macross Frontier: Itsuwari no Utahime ~ Hybrid Pack, which is a hybrid disc contains the PS3 game Macross Trial Frontier and animated movie Macross Frontier the Movie: The False Songstress on one Blu-ray. The hybrid disc will ship in Japan on October 7, for 7140 yen.

- Bandai Namco's Macross Trial Frontier is the sequel to PSP's Macross Ultimate Frontier. The game will have characters from the animated movie Macross Frontier the Movie: The False Songstress. There will be 3-tier transformation and a wide selection of missions.

- Sony announced that Heavy Rain wil be re-released in Japan with PlayStation Move support.

- Gust announced a new playable character Cecilla will be available as DLC for Atelier Totori in Japan.

- Sony Computer Entertainment announced PlayStation Logo Licensing program, which allows the PlayStation Logo to appear in everyday products, including clothing, household items, accessories and more.

- Sony mentioned that the next firmware update v3.41 will add a PlayStation Store Recommendations function, which allows you to preview a game or video in the PS Store before you purchase.

- Netflix added a video search function in the PS3 Netflix streaming service.

- Capcom mentioned that PlayStation Move support is only for Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition [Biohazard 5: Alternative Edition], not the original version.

- Atlus announced Radiant Historia for NDS, a new RPG from the team who created Tri-Ace's Radiata Stories. The story will be about time travelling between past and future. The game will ship on November 4, for 6279 yen.

- Sega released new images of its PSP action adventure game Kurohyou: Ryuga Gotoku Shinshou [Blank Panther: Yakuza New Chapter], the game will be released in Japan on 9/22/2010.

- Nekkei News reported that Capcom is planning to publish more Biohazard / Resident Evil games, instead of 2 titles a year, the company is looking to expanding to 3 or 4 titles a year. Capcom is also looking to reduce the development time of the main series from 4 years to 2-3 years.

- Sega has renewed Shining Wind for trademark protection in Japan, it is unclear whether Sega plans to republish the game on another platform or plan for a remake/sequel.

- Ubisoft's marketing director Rob Cooper said the company estimates to sell 1 million copies of its upcoming music game Michael Jackson: The Experience, which will be heading to all major platforms in November.

- Nintendo has registered several names for patent and trademark protection in Japan: CrossPass, CrossPass Mode, CrossPass Network, CrossPass Connection; these names seem to be for exchanging player data for 3DS's Tag Mode. Nintendo also registered: 3D Paddleball, 3D Challenge, 3D Hopper and Target Shooting; these ones seems to be 3DS titles.

- Codemasters announced that sequels to DIRT, Grid and Operation Flashpoint are already in development.

- RUMOR: Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter predicts that the launch price of Nintendo 3DS will be around US$250, with the software prices higher than Nintendo DS, from an average price of $25 to $29.

- Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono mentioned to Weekly Famitsu that the release date of Street Fighter X Tekken is expected to be 2012.
