- Konami announced the PSP four player espionage action game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be released in Japan on March 18, 2010, some new characters confirmed in the game include Amanda and Chico.

- Atlus announced Tokyo Mono Hara Shi for PSP, a new RPG in the Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki series.

- Nintendo announced a new Norse mythology action game called Reginleiv for Wii, the game is scheduled for a February 11, 2010 release in Japan.

- Nintendo announced they have sold over 550,000 units of Wii and over 1 million units of DS Lite and DSi during the Thanksgiving week. The Wii figure was noticeably lower than last year's 800,000 units figure, but DS sales was much higher than last year's 780,000 units.

- Sony announced over 440,000 units of PS3 were sold during the Thanksgiving week, which is more than triple the sales from last year's Thanksgiving.

- Ubisoft announced Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for consoles and handhelds, the game will continue the story of The Sands of Time Trilogy, and will be hitting US on May 2010.
