- Namco Bandai has registered Ridge Racer Accelerated for patent protection in Japan on October 5, 2009, it seems to be a new game in the Ridge Racer series.

- Suda 51 announced No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise for PS3 and Xbox 360, which is based on No More Heroes for Wii with many new features, including HD visual, a new Advanced Mode and Erotic Portrait. The release date is February 25, 2010 in Japan.

- Taketo Matsuo, front man of Japanese retail chain Tsutaya, said that he predicts that Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 will easily sell over one million units upon release, the amount of preorders of the game has already passed Final Fantasy XII for PS2. Also Matsuo predicts New Super Mario Bros. Wii and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks will be the 2nd and 3rd best selling games in the holiday season.

- Here are some new images of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 and Xbox 360, which shows Hope's summon beast Alexander, and it can transform into a flying gun shooting fortress.

- Square Enix and Sony announced a new Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep PSP-3000 Bundle in Japan, which will be release on January 9, 2010, for 22000 yen (US$246), the bundle will include a special edition PSP as seen below.

- Sony announced the PS3 firmware update v3.10 will incorporate Facebook social media with PSN account. By linking PSN account with Facebook account, users can automatically get Facebook News Feed updates with Trophy and PlayStation Store activity. Developers can also set specific criteria in their games to publish additional game info to your News Feed. Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites are also accessible through the PS3 web browser.

- Reggie Fils-Aime mentioned that the next Nintendo console will need to have more than HD visuals enhancement, he said "...when we will move to a new generation, it’s because there are some fundamental things the [current] console cannot do. What that says is that simply the addition of HD capability will not be the next step for us. There will be more to it. There will be additional capability. There will be additional elements, and, given that, it is far into the future."

- CNET UK revealed a survey result on Xbox 360 failures, the survey was done on 1128 users and 562 owned Xbox 360, of which 60% of the Xbox 360 owners had experienced terminal hardware failures, comparing to 16% for PS3 and 6% for Wii. The Xbox 360 failure problems usually occur within the first 12 months of purchase; 47% of Xbox 360 owners reported the console completely broke down (RROD) within a year.

- Neil Thompson from Microsoft Europe said that the rumors of Project Natal launch dates, sales prediction and number of launch titles "leaked" last week were completely inaccurate, because a lot of things are still undecided for Project Natal.
