- Arc System Works announced BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will be coming to arcade this winter, which is the sequel to last year's popular fighting game. The game will have 3 new playable charaacters: Hazama, Tsubaki Yayoi and Lamda No. 11.

- Sony will release the official soundtrack album for the PSP game Gran Tursimo, the album will be released on November 25, for 2310 yen; there will be 22 tracks, which includes tracks that were not in the game.
- Square Enix revealed that the first edition of Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 will contain a campaign code for Final Fantasy XIV, the purpose of the campaign code is still unclear, perhaps to access beta test of the MMORPG, which dues in spring 2010.

- RUMOR: Japanese voice actor Rikiya Koyama mentioned that Namco Bandai's Tales of Vesperia will be making its way to Wii. Namco Bandai has not commented on the news.
- Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime mentioned that there's no plan for a Wii HD console.
