- Sony mentioned that Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII for PSN has been downloaded over 100,000 times in the first two weeks. Sony announced that the PSOne gamesWild Arms 2, Mobile Light Force [Gunbird], and Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol will be coming PSN this summer.

- Sony announced the number of PSN membership has surpassed 25 millions worldwide, and over 500 million downloads in PSN. The downloads includes 200 games, 1900 movies and 9000 TV shows/original programming.

- Microsoft announced a new Xbox 360 wireless microphone will be coming this fall, for US$49.99. The wireless microphone will be compatible with Lips, Guitar Hero: Metallica, Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year; as well as forthcoming titles Lips: Number One Hits and The Beatles: Rock Band.

- PSP Gen website mentioned that Namco Bandai's newly released PSP title Evangelion: Jo is the first PSP game which has the ability to detect PSP custom firmware and blocks the game from running.

- Activision mentioned that Modern Warfare 2 will not have four player co-op or campaign co-op modes, instead it will have a two player Special Ops mode. “We don’t do co-op in our story because we’re crafting a very specific experience and we don’t want to ruin that by cramming co-op into it," said Infinity Ward's Robert "fourzerotwo" Bowling to VideoGamer. " We take the moments that work really well with co-op, we bring them out and we put them in Special Ops.”

- Apple announced over 1 milion iPhone 3GS has been sold in the first three days after launch, and the new iPhone 3.0 firmware has been downloaded 6 million times in the first 3 days.
