- Microsoft announced Forza Motorsport 3, which dues in October 2009, the game will have 400 vehicles and run at 60fps. Player created content will be a center piece, you will be able to upload your work on the server.

- Microsoft and Bungie announced Halo: Reach for Xbox 360, a prequel to Halo 1. The game will be coming in Fall 2010.

- Microsoft will release the Xbox 360 sci-fi first person shooter Halo 3: ODST in North America on September 22, 2009.

- Konami confirmed that Metal Gear Solid Rising is in development for Xbox 360, Raiden will be the protagonist in the game.

- Microsoft will release the Xbox 360 exclusive action adventure game Alan Wake, the game is slated for a Q1 2010 release in North America.

- Microsoft announced Xbox Live will be integrated with Facebook and Twitter, you will be able to find your friends on both Xbox Live and Facebook in the same list. You will be able to post images and text to Facebook in realtime.

- Microsoft announced Project Natal Camera, a 3D motion sensing camera which have full body motion detection and facial recognition. A demo called Ricochet was shown, which is a full-body version of Breakout.

- Valve will release Left 4 Dead 2 for Xbox 360 and PC in North America on November 17, 2009.

- Microsoft announced the Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2 will have exclusive downloadable map packs in Xbox Live Marketplace.

- Microsoft announced that Crackdown 2 for Xbox 360 is in development.

- Microsoft confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII for both Xbox 360 and PS3 will be released in North America in spring 2010. A footage of the game running on the Xbox 360 hardware was shown at the press conference.
