- Square Enix's Yoichi Wada said that he's concerning the effects after the company postponed the release of Dragon Quest IX in Japan from March to July 2009, which had a large impact on the company's annual results. He thinks it is a serious problem and believe it's time to change the company culture and reform the game development process.
- Here are some new images of Sega and Tri-Ace's End of Eternity [Resonance of Fate] for PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will be released in Q3 2009.
- Sega released a new trailer of its racing game Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, which will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC and NDS in early 2010. The console version will support up to 8 players online and 4 players in split screen.
- MCV reported that former Sony president Phil Harrison has resigned as the president of Atari, and he has now moved to the role of non-executive director of the Group. This is due to Atari's European operation will be entirely taken over by Namco Bandai in the next few weeks.
- Gametrailers released a new E3 09 exclusive cinematic trailer of Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins for PS3 and Xbox 360, the action RPG will be released in October 2009.

- Ubisoft CEO Yves Gulliemot mentioned that the development costs of Assassin's Creed II will be 20% higher than the original, the game will be coming to both PS3 and Xbox 360 in Q4 2009.
