- Here are the latest console game review score from Japan:

- Sega Sonic Team's lead designer Yoshihisa Hashimoto mentioned that Sonic Unleashed will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, the game has nothing to do with Sonic the Hedgehog (PS3/X360) and Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii), the new title was originally planned as Sonic Adventure 3.

- Sega has closed its Racing Studio in UK, the studio has so far developed Sega Rally Revo for PS3 and Xbox 360.

- Criterion announced an update patch for Burnout Paradise will be released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on April 24, 2008.

- Banpresto announced Super Robot Taisen for PlayStation 3, the latest installment of the popular strategy RPG series.

- Square Enix announced Soul Eater: Monotone Princess for Wii, a new action RPG based on a popular manga of the same name. In the game you use the Wii Remote as your weapon to fight the enemies.

- Harmonix mentioned that the reason Rock Band for Wii does not have any downloadable content is because there is no place to store the content, game director Rob Kay said Nintendo should release a hard drive for Wii.

- Nintendo announced Hercules no Eikou: Tamashii no Shoumei [Hercules' Glory: Proof of the Soul] for Nintendo DS, a new tactical RPG based on Greek Mythology, which was originally called Eternal Chronicle. You play as a young boy who lost his memory, and set on a journey to find out who he is. Later he discovered he is immortal. The game will be released on May 22, 2008 in Japan, for 4800 yen.

- Capcom announced Gyakuten Kenji for NDS, an action adventure game with two protagonists, Keisuke Itonoko and Mitsurugi. The player becomes a state prosecutor, you must investigate the crime locations and collect evidences.

- Nintendo announced Dai Gasso Brothers Band DX for NDS, the sequel to the popular Band Bros music rhythm game, which will have over 30 new songs, ranging from classics to J-Pop. There will be over 50 instruments, and up to 6 players can play over Wi-Fi. There will be a Karaoke mode and downloadable content is planned for future. The game will be released on June 26, 2008.

- Capcom announced they have shipped 1.5 million copies of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for PSP in Japan since the game released on March 27, 2008. The series has sold 6.8 million copies worldwide.
