- Bandai Namco announced Daikaijyu Battle: Ultra Colosseum for Wii, a new monster combat game featuring over 60 playable monsters from the galaxy. In the game you wave the Wii Remote to attack the opponents and defend yourself.

- Hudson president Michihiro Ishizuka mentioned that the company will release 8 new Wii titles for 2008, in addition to supply one WiiWare game each month. The company expects profile to rise fourfold on Nintendo platforms.

- Rockstar Games acquired the game studio Mad Doc Software, who recently produced Bully: The Scholarship Edition for Xbox 360 and Wii. The studio will be renamed to Rockstar New England.

- Enterbrain reported that Sony has sold over 2 million units of PlayStation 3 in Japan since its debug on November 11, 2006.

- Sega mentioned that the PS3 strategy/action game Senjo no Valkyrie [Valkyria Chronicles] was originally planned for Xbox 360 three years ago when the game was in planning stage, but the platform was changed to PS3 shortly after.

- Eidos announced Gauntlet for Nintendo DS, a new edition to Midway's classic arcade action game. The DS version will support 4 players over Wi-Fi and the game will have VoIP (voice over IP) support, allow players to chat on microphone while playing. There will be 4 playable characters, including Elf, Warrior, Wizard and Valkyrie.
