- Koei announced Gundam Musou Special [Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Special] for PS2, a Gundam hack n' slash action game based on the PS3 and Xbox 360 version, the PS2 port will have new characters, stories, and play modes not found in original. Gundam Musou Special will be released in Japan on February 28, 2008.

- Capcom has registered Street Fighter Alpha for PlayStation 3 and PSP to American ESRB rating, the game will be available on PlayStation Network.
- Sony announced they have sold 3.9 million PS systems in North America over the holidays between Nov 23 - Dec 31, 2007:
