- Sony announced the £349 60GB PlayStation 3 will be discontinued in Europe once the stock has sold out, thereafter only the £299 40GB model will be in the market.

- UNCONFIRMED: SCEA will launch the 40GB PlayStation 3 in North Americca on November 2, 2007, for US$399 (or 46800 yen), the console will be bundled with a copy of the Spider-Man 3 Blu-Ray video.

- Here are some new images of SCEA and Naughty Dog's PS3 jungle adventure game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, the game will be released in US on November 20, 2007.

- D3 Publisher announced they will release the XBLA puzzle game Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords in Japan and Europe on October 10, 2007, for 1200 Microsoft Points.

- Tri-Ace has posted a job recruitment ad in Japan to look for designers, game planners and programmers for two new titles, one is a new fantasy RPG, the other one is a new installment of a popular fantasy RPG, and both projects are planned for Xbox 360. It seems like the two RPGs refer to Infinite Undiscovery and Star Ocean 4.

- Microsoft will release the Xbox 360 action RPG Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom in Japan on December 13, 2007.

- Nintendo announced three new NEOGEO Virtual Console games are now available for Wii in US:

• Fatal Fury (NeoGeo, SNK Playmore) - 900 Wii Points
• World Heroes (NeoGeo, SNK Playmore) - 900 Wii Points

- Here are some new images of Sega and Monolith's horror adventure game Condemned 2: Bloodshot, the game will be released on Q1 2008.

- BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) has rejected Rockstars' revised version of Manhunt 2 after a second examination, the game is not allowed to appear in UK. Rockstars representative said this is inacceptable, because it represents a setback in freedom of choice for videogames.
