- Here are some new images of Nintendo's Pokemon Battle Revolution for Wii, this is the first Wii title to support link-up with NDS. You can link-up with Pokemon Diamond & Pearl for NDS via Wi-Fi connection, and use your own Pokemons from the NDS game. You can also use your NDS as the controller, and use the touch screen to play the game.

- Nintendo confirmed that both Wii Sports and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves for Wii will support the Mii Channel. Nintendo expects more third party titles will support Mii Channel in 2007.

- Here are some new images of Nippon Ichi's PS2 simulation RPG Soul Cradle: Sekai no Kurau Mono [Soul Cradle: Devourers of the World]. You can play as a man or woman, the mission is to defeat the gigantic monsters called devourers, who appeared 200 years ago....

- Sony mentioned that the US version of Level 5's PS2 RPG Rogue Galaxy will have be more polished. The US version will have additional battle animation, special moves, costumes, weapons, new levels, missions and hidden items not found in the original version. There are also over 2000 new dialogues throughout the game; and the CG movies will look better with lower compression rate. The game will be released in Dual Layer DVD in January 2007.

- D3 Publisher announced a new 3rd person action adventure game called Dark Sector, the game is being developed by Digital Extremes, and will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in fall 2007.

- Konami's Suikoden producer Takahiro Saikymama mentioned that the development of Suikoden VI has already began, the game may have references to a previous Suikoden game.

- Namco Bandai announced Mario Kart Arcade GP2, the sequel to the popular arcade kart racing game.

- Aspyr Media will release a PC version of the tennis game Top Spin 2 in November 2006, which features 24 playable characters and a Career mode. The PC version supports up to 4 players simultaneously online.

- Chris Lewis from Microsoft Home & Entertainment said that the company has already began working on the Xbox 3, the 3rd generation Xbox console.

- Electronic Art is planning to offering cheat codes for Xbox 360 titles in Xbox Live Market Place. The first game will be Tiger Woods '07, customer can purchase 5 codes for around 200-300 Microsoft points. Alternatively players can still unlock the extra features by fulfilling certain conditions in the game, without buying the codes.

- Rockstar North mentioned that the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV will have exclusive new areas which link into the main world in GTAIV, the new areas will most likely be smaller islands linking to the main world. (Source: Eurogamers)

- GamesIndustry.biz reported that certain PS3 launch titles are already approaching 25GB, the capacity of a single layer BluRay disc. Sony plans to offer 50GB BluRay media in 2007.

- Terra Soft Solutions announced they will release the Linux OS Yellow Dog Linux v5.0 for PlayStation 3 in mid-November. Yellow Dog Linux v5.0 is based on Fedora Core 5, which has a single click installer.

- Hori announced they will release a USB Multi Card Reader/Writer for PlayStation 3 in Japan on November 11, 2006, for 2280 yen. The device can read and write over 15 different kinds of memory cards such as Memory Stick Pro DUO, SD card, and CF/MMC cards.
