- RUMOR: MCV reported that Nintendo will launch the next generation console Wii in Europe before November 24, 2006, for £149, which makes the console £275 cheaper than PS3 and £50 cheaper than Core Xbox 360.

- Nippon Ichi announced a new PlayStation 2 RPG called Soul Cradle, which has a fantasy / medieval setting. The game will be coming in 2007.

- Ubisoft announced that the tactical shooter Rainbox Six Vegas will be coming to PSP before the end of 2006. The PSP version will have the same content as the PS3 and Xbox 360 version, plus exclusive new play mode "Terrorist Hunt" and 2 new playable Rainbox members: Brian Armstrong (fire support/attack expert) and Shawn Rivers (sniper). The game also features Survival and Team Survival mode, which can be played online via WiFi.
