- Sony has released a new PSP firmware version 2.81, which corrected a number of flaws in the 2.8.0, such as security holes and support for Memory Stick Pro Duo over 4GB.
- Capcom announced Devil May Cry for PSP, it is uncertain whether the game is a port of the PS2 versions or a new game.

- Konami will release Guitar Freaks V2 & Drum Mania V2 for PS2 in Japan on November 22, the game will have over 60 tunes, including a selection of new tunes in Guitar Freaks V3 & Drum Mania V3.
