- At the Leipzig Game Convention, Nintendo announced they plan to ship 4 million units
of Wii by the end of 2006; and a total of 6 million units will be shipped by the end of
March 2007; and the Wii console will cost no more than 250 euro.

- Here are some new images of Konami's PlayStation 3 sci-fi first person shooter Coded Arms: Assault, the game will
support up to 16 players online, or 4 players offline.

- SNK Playmore announced they will release Garou Densetsu Special
[Fatal Fury Special] for Xbox Live Arcade.
- Microsoft will release the Xbox Live Vision Camera in US on
September 19, 2006, for US$39.99, the package will include one month of Xbox Live Gold
Membership, Headset and two free Xbox Live Arcade games: Uno and Totemball.
- Microsoft also announced 4 more Xbox Live Arcade games will correspond to the Xbox
Live Vision Camera, they are Bankshot Billiards 2, Texas Hold'Em, Hardwood Hearts and
Hardwood Spades.
- Microsoft will release the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in US in
November 2006, for US$149.99, the package will include an updated version of Project
Gotham Racing 3, which supports the force feedback function.
- The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset will be released in US in November
2006 as well, for US$59.99.
- Microsoft will release two new faceplaces for Xbox 360, they are Viva Pinata and
Forza Motorsport 2 faceplaces, both will be released in November 2006, for US$19.99 each.
- Atr the Leipzig Game Convention, Microsoft announced the two next-gen soccer games Pro
Evolution Soccer 6 and FIFA 07 will be one year exclusive to
Xbox 360, however it is uncertain whether the deal only applies to the European region or
other regions as well. This does not affect the current generation consoles (PS2, Xbox,
GameCube) or the handheld systems (PSP, NDS, GBA).

currently 30% completed.

- Japanese retailers reported that many people have started querying up in front of
various game shops across Japan at 3AM, to buy Square Enix's Final Fantasy III
and the FFIII Crystal Edition DS Lite first hand; one shop has about 80
people lined up in front of the store at 3 AM, and over 150 people lined up at 8:30 AM.
The FFIII Crystal Edition DS Lite were sold out within 30 minutes after the shop opened.
- Konami will release Bokura no Taiyou: Django & Sabata [Lunar Knights]
for Nintendo DS in Japan on November 22, 2006.
- Nintendo has posted a new Flash preview video of its
upcoming NDS RPG Mogitate Tincle no Bara Iro Ruppii Land (aka Tingle
RPG), the game will be available in Japan on September 2, 2006.
- Nintendo of America will release Coral Pink and Onyx model of Nintendo DS Lite in US
on September 13, 2006.
 
- Here are some new images of Ubisoft's Nintendo DS racing game Asphalt Urban GT 2, the game will be
available in November 2006.
