- SNK Playmore will release the Atomsiwave arcade action shooter Metal Slug 6 in Japan in February 2006.
- Namco's producer Hiroshi Yamaguchi said there are no current plans to port Soul Calibur III to arcade, but he did get many inquiries regarding to an arcade version of the game.
- Sega announced they will release the Lindbergh arcade game Psy-Chi in April 2006; and Power Smash 3 will be released in spring 2006.
