Well, that clinches it then, that video clip did more likely show a realtime battle... wh0a.. this could be good... really good..

Then again.. it could always be bad, too...

Kingdom Hearts is an Action RPG. And theres been other Action RPG's from Square in the past.

final fantasy pretty much owns my gaming dollars so even if its a bad game i'll still buy it and love it. it's kinda sad really

yeah, that was weird. but i think there was some truth to what he was saying... especially about the poor quality ps2's (god forbid square ever doing anything wrong

). it happened to me and i couldn't understand it. i take VERY good care of all my stuff and use them according to the instructions. sony never even told me what was wrong with my system. anyways, it's in the past, that happened last year. i shouldn't get mad over it now.

EDIT* just remember, there's no such thing as a bad final fantasy game...jk

Thats what is wrong with the Japanese market. They'd buy anything thats has a brand name recogination. Its sad that Golden Sun sold much less than an old port of Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy.

bill, you could start a whole thread on this.

i agree with you on this, and honestly i can't blame them. i've been playing games for a long time and it's one of my favorite hobbies but i have been burned one too many times. this mainly revolves around the cost of playing games. games are fun, but it can be an expensive habbit.

after buying "x" amount of games (even though i like them) i start to ask questions. like - why am i playing games?, i have so many games, when am i going to play them? does a man really need that many megaman games? (

jk) how many games do i actually want ? this is where you get a sense of this mentality hopefully. i love the final fantasy series (not to mention other square series like chrono...), i love the zelda series, what do i have to do to get these games? this would amount to owning 2 systems and less than 10 games in both the systems lifespan. it seems odd to restrict myself to a few titles (along with the odd good title from who knows where) but these are the titles i'll be playing at the end of the day and i would have saved myself all kinds of money and stress from finding good games, making lists and all that nonsense that comes with videogame collecting.

it takes that much to make me a happy gamer. it's all that and the fact that i feel like i may be in general, liking games less now than i have in the past. so when the japanese gamers appear to follow specific brands like lemmings to the slaughter i really can't blame them. games in general have done little to excite more interest in the industry (nintendo's right!!) and considering how many average games flood the market in japan, it's simply easier to follow the titles you know won't dissapoint you or be a waste of money.
