It should have come out in October.
Anywho, dispite Moore's political adgenda aside, I laugh at the fact that since Miramax made a stinka bout it, it's going to get much more exposure. The Patriot Act, Donald Rumsfeld, and John Ashcroft all need to go NOW! Moreso than W....

Yeah, it won the French Palm d'or...And, from what I've heard, this is the number 1 movie in my "to see" list!

I want to see this movie. Looks fun. I sa one clip where Bush was telling all these rich people how they are better than everyone or some such nonsense. I also saw another clip where Bush is pretending to be concerned about terrorism and then after he is done saying things like "We all need to stand up against terrorism blah blah blah..." he tells reporters "Now watch this drive!" and hits a golf ball.

Michael Moore is an idiot. He does hit on some good points here and there, but for the most part he simply goes to the extreme to get notice for his work, rather then quality journalism (which sadly gets ignored often). The problem is that when you get so extreme in things, people can easily discredit you and write you off. In other words, you're simply preaching to the choir. The only people that really listen to Moore are the people that already believe what he is selling, they simply get pumped up by his stuff. Those people that don't believe what he is saying can easily pick apart his arguements and thus don't take heed of those few good points he brings up. And those people in the middle, that know those points simply find no value to what he says. He states the obvious in the most extreme and insulting manner he can simply to get more people's attention.

yep.
not only does he do that, he completely distortes the facts and misleads his viewers. he is getting rich off of his lies, and sadly, people believe it. Last edited by gearhound; 06-25-2004 at 01:18 AM. |

So is everything in the movie Fahrenheit 911 either a lie or a misrepresentation of the truth? Is Bush actually great?

I just hope that Farenheit is more accurate than Moore's last movie was. Quote:
