Kamen Rider W sucks. Whenever they show a bad kamen rider I usually skip out of it and wait for the next series. Decade is good, but the whole "card" thing is always a deal breaker with me. I don't know, it kind of reminds me that i am watching a kids show at 28.

I like Double so far

I like the uses of the new powers so far and the effects are pretty good compared to the other series.

Hibiki is my least favorite, I loved the characters to it but it was like there wasn't really a story at all. Asuma has a problem, Hibiki helps solves it for him while fighting a cat creature!

I think KRW is going to help Decade in the movie solve his mystery, I would assume anyways. Probably just like the Kiva DenO movie, he just pops up at the end

I saw Evangelion 1.0 in the theatre tonight.

It was interesting seeing it compressed into a tighter story, and it worked - mostly.

No "Fly Me To The Moon" at the end though!

yah fuck that, I went to see it too at the cineplex over in Kingston and guess what out of all the luck! THE FUCKING THEATER CAUGHT FIRE! we had to leave 20 mins into the movie!

It was a gas fire from some dumb kid! sure we could have blown up! BUT I WANTED TO WATCH THE MOVIEEEEEEEEEEE! So tomorrow I have to go back and get a refund!

I was disappointed it was dubbed, but at least Kenji and The Major had the same voices as the original dub from the series.

I actually think Shinji's English voice really suits him.

It was a bit jarring to hear different voices for the rest of the cast.

IMHO I prefer the original english voices over the japanese cast. I mean in japan of course, they're everywhere, but when i was a youngster we watched that shit dubbed, and you know what, that shit was good.

cataraqui one at that big plaza, couldn't get out of the lot till 30 mins later cause retards had to follow the firetrucks to see what was going on!

I just got through reading the first 11 chapters of Bakuman. Pretty good stuff. It goes on how to be a mangaka... something that genshiken touched on. Good read. Hate the art though.

I'm so fucking... no I'm not mad or shocked... I don't know what I am right now. I had pre-ordered Samurai Champloo on BRD from amazon for 44 bucks, so I thought I am getting a steal. Then I went to this this site which totally rips on it and have this site comparing the difference. Is it me or does the DVD look better? I don't know. I am a little mad that its not getting any love seeing as I pre-ordered mine, and I was actually excited to be getting it on wed. I think I am still a little excited. Its just I thought it would get a better reception than that. I also thought animation BRDs have a crisper look to them.

On a lighter note theres a fellow MBer on the first site. Say hello EAST.

looks fine to me, doesn't look super awesome compared to the DVDs

but looks more colorful, should be fine still, probably cause they don't have any higher resolutions of the series so they're just stretching it to 1080p

I got some cartoons on dvd and bluray, like justice league for example, it looks better on dvd than on bluray, I got the bluray set when I got it for 25 dollars and after watching it, the only thing that made me like the set was that it was only on 3 discs instead of 6 double sided discs.
