Wow! Such enthusiasm.
So I started watching Aria the Animation, and I found it was WAY too happy. So happy, that I thought something was wrong with me. Does conflict ever arise in the series, or should I just go ahead and save my time?

don't, it's just the TV series, ie the bluray release that I got, but made into 2 movies of Gunbuster and DieBuster, they mostly take out the extra stuff that don't really effect the plot like extra characters that don't add much but being there.
I got it on bluray cause I love the series that much and I wanted a anime on bluray  so I went and got one of the best ones out there! BOO YAH!

OH FUCK YAH! Just aired today! I'm downloading the subbed right now! THE NEW MAZINGER REMAKE ANIME! WOOOOOO It's going to be Mazinger Z to Mazinkaiser apparently and it's going to have GRENDIZER IN IT WOOOOOOOOOO! Just watched! Holy crap, they really want to confuse you by showing the ending to Mazinger Z first! but WOoo Great mazinger and Tetsuya! I wish the voices were the original one, the only one that seems to be the same VA is the lady part to Baron Ashura.
