Its got its own style. I guess the CLOSEST thing, and thats only just, would probably be Marmalade Boy mixed with Beck. The music is brilliant and the director for the show is awesome. I really like the characters and the script they use. Very powerful in scenes here and there. Brilliant.

I think this is the worst season of anime I can remember (not that I've been into anime forever, but still). I'd say Ghost Hunt and Genshiken are the only ones worth looking forward to...and I wasn't even like Genshiken all that much.

I'll be watching Da Capo 2 and Shakugan no Shana 2 for sure aswell as giving Clanned ago (as Air and Kanon were enjoyable). Tales of Symphonia OVA should finish in December so i'll grab all of that aswell.

Anything else I wanna see can wait until it's finished.

No sign of Kiddy Grade 2 or Code Geass 2 then.

There is some Salvagable stuff in there though:

Hero Tales: Drawn by the same guy who did Full Metal Alchemist (Bleh for me, but should still be quality)

Gundam 00: Its a giant robot show, in a season where there seems to be no others.

Straight Jacket: Scrapped Princess was genius, so I have high hopes for this as well.

Got no hope for Gundam. Each time I cross my fingers and each time it comes out butchered. Gundam Wing was possibly the biggest of the let downs to date but it was massively popular for some freakish reason.

It was huge because it was on Cartoon Network, but I think Japan was all over that shit too.

I dunno, I was more of a Gundam X fan myself, which was canceled after 39 episodes instead of the full 50. But I will admit, I found SEED enjoyable, though kind of stupid towards the end. Which means there may still be a glimmer of hope for this Series.

Assuming the Gundams aren't made out of Gundanium, or Phase Shift so they can just take bullet after bullet without caring...

Wing is when newtypes stopped being the reason why Gundams owned up, and started the trend of them just being invincible.

If I was in Wing Zero, I could kill everything too....
I preferred it when it took skill to win.

yeah I agree.

That's why i love gundam 0080, I love the ending battle with the zaku and the gundam. My favorite gundam was also the shortest

0080 and 0083 are the two best Gundam series ever and the last. Gundams in those ones were special instead of everyone and his dog owning one. And people DIED in them so awesomely. It wasnt about being cool and crap. The whole thing was a proper space drama as Gundam should be. Not 40 bishi characters acting cool and girls going kyaaaa over it.
