I got tired of watching Naruto. I want Uchiha Itachi to do a special finishing move just for Naruto - bury his fist right up Naruto's ass causing him to explode.

Something like that. I just got tired of the countless fillers. I did get to episode 192 (arranged marriage) which was actually somewhat funny.

I think i'd have to slit my wrists before I sat through that many naruto episodes. To each his own. Hajime no ippo, and monster are decent examples of shows that contain hardly any filler and are still lengthy(and quite good).

yeah but Ippo manga been going on since the 80's and the anime came out 99/2000 ish I forget, so I would hope there isn't any filler ahha

too bad we would never get a finished anime of it tho, considering the manga is still going on.

Why can't more AMV's be like this? That was great.

My only complaint is that Ooh La La sounds wierd sped up and slowed down like that.

No most anime have fillers, not all.

Soultaker had no filler
Scryed had no filler (though 2 recaps ewww)
Berserk had no filler
Noir had no filler
RahXephon had no filler
If I remember correctly 12 Kingdoms had no filler
Escaflowne had no filler unless you count the atrocius recap movie as recap and filler

And many more.
Filler only hits the already doomed shows, or the overly popular shows. Its those damn recap episodes that get even the good shows, no matter how short they are.

Edit: Thinking about it, Scryed isn't really a good example, as the Manga sucked, the anime didnt really follow the Manga, and the last episode, though awesome, is probally filler...

Escaflowne anime wasn't based on the manga.

Filler means (in this case at least) content that is not in the manga, so if the anime doesn't have/isn't based on the manga you can't have filler.

If anything, reminds me that shows not based off manga are great. Like Cowboy Bebop.

And are you sure about Escaflowne?

And to redeem myself (i hope) :
How bout Record of the Lodoss War. I think the TV series, not the OAV was based off of manga, only becuase it is different then the OAV becuase it follows the manga more closely. And I don't think that had filler. Though it didn't need too since it was most likely started after, or right before, the manga ended...

Oh well screw the argument. I dont know enough about manga, since the only ones I have felt worth my time to read were Berserk and Akira. Apparently I had no clue about much in my previous, and maybe even this post...

Personally the Manga is more worth it to get for Berserk, mostly cause of the things they change, they left out some cool fights and characters in the anime

They stopped saying that when I did it to them at Funerals.
