Dead or Alive Ultimate video
Here you go ~ http://xboxmovies.teamxbox.com/xbox/...ate-E3-Footage
I like the safari area. The graphics look great but the gameplay looks very similar to DoA3. We'll see how this turns out. Also, I heard that Soul Calibur 3 was shown privately for X-Box and that it puts DoAU to shame. It should be shown soon so we'll see.

The one thing I always loved about DOA was the interactivity of the environments. It was the one thing I always hope Virtua Fighter would incorporate into it's system.

Thanks for the link, Icarus4578, I must have missed that while checking out the e3 coverage at TXB. TXB does have the DOAU footage kinda out of the way and hidden.
I must say that this looks sweet, much better than I expected it would. Your right, that safari level is impressive. That part where one of the fighters is thrown agianst the elephant and the the elephant jumps up on its hind legs and lets out a big elephant trump, wow! At least the single player game looks to be awesome. A big test for this game though will be to see if there is much lag online and how MS/Tecmo deals with people who quit right before they are about to lose. I like in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorow, how if a person drops a game, they get negative points the next time they complete an online match.

Woo! Only two people care about DoAU. That's suprising, given the amount of crap otherwise for the X-Box. But hey, there's crap everywhere, right? I guess what I'm trying to say is how come you X-Box owners aren't getting excited about this game? Maybe you're tired of DoA. Perhaps DoAU is just another excuse to push the X-Box's graphics. I don't know. We shall see.
DoA4 is rumored to be for the next Microsoft console. Big suprise. Also, I'm suprised that thus far Tecmo hasn't shown Code Cronos yet.

More T&A, I like substance in my fighters. I'll pass, thanks. Sega? Where is that Virtua Fighter 4: Final Tuned?

Perhaps it's time for Itagaki to reinvent his flagship fighter instead of relying solely on graphics (and girls) to get the job done.

You aren't selling games when you're featuring two girls in bikini's fighting it out on the beach, your selling masturbation aid for teenagers. I detest DoA games, they could be solid if some real effort went into the games system as opposed to relying on other means of attention.

While the gameplay is smooth and fun to an extent, it lacks depth and strategy; characters you study in order to be better than your opponent. This, I feel, is the biggest flaw in DoA games.

It's just too similar to DoA 3. I do like the "breakable" backgrounds. That does add a lot to the game but not enough to warrant a purchase since I already own DoA 3.
Oh and that elephant would stomp the crap out of you if you ran into it like that! |

But this is just a game VicViper. Just like the fact that characters get knocked down about 200 feet, get up and keep fighting.... it's just a game, not a real-life simulator. (Thankfully.)

Old? The footage is from E3, which is still going on as we speak.
Anyways, I would love if Tecmo implimented online tag-team with four players.

Maybe. There are more problems then simply the counter festivities. It's kind of like asking a vegetarian if they would eat meat if it didn't come from a living thing, it wouldn't be meat then would it?
