Animal Crossing. Still a little confused....
Ok So from what I gather Animal Crossing is not so much a game but a sim where you just hang out and do whatever you want plus you can play 8-bit NES games on your GC or you can download them to play on the GBA. This sounds pretty cool but what kind of 8-bit games are we talking about??? Can anyone help fill in the blanks and give me more info??

Its best if you go and read the preview at IGN. They explain everything.

I know one of the games is Punch Out!.. without Mike Tyson
![]() oh, and Exitebike is in there too! The cool thing is, this month's EGM said Nintendo hinted at the fact that other developers might jump on the bandwagon and could include their oldskool games as well. Not to mention the fact that games can always be added later in though that card reader system it links up to via the GBA. So many possibilities. I wish they'd prettied it up some, though. Nothing fancy, just frigging clean it up a bit!? w03 2 t3h u9ly 83rs.

Yes. I actually just got the new EGM today. That sounds pretty cool. I would love to see other companies release games to download. I wonder how that will work though. Does the card reader have flash memory? or will the release a flash ram cart that when you download a game to the GBA you can have it for more than a 1 time use?
Wow. This is going to be really sweet if it flies! |

I'm not sure, but the data is stored in the cards, and then I'd guess from your GBA you can upload the data to the GC memory card. Otherwise it'd be kind of a hassle to have to connect everything together and swipe the card everytime you want to play the game, I'd think. But, hey- anything for some really good oldskool games!
