The Butterfly Effect <Spoilers, but not in first post>
This is gonna be short and simple. Saw the film the other night, was damn impressed. For those who played the game Shadow of Memories/Destiny and liked it, this is sorta the same thing. Its very cool. Top film. Loved it. Go watch it.

No thanks, i can never take ashton kutcher as a serious actor. I heard the story was good but had uneven directing and extremely uneven acting. I saw A Secret Window the other night, while i saw the plot twist coming a mile away and the film never aspired to greatness, johnny depp still ownz and i would recommend this film over butterfly effect anyday just because of his performance.

I'm so not a fan of Ashtons. I dont like his acting, or his characters in previous movies. I dont even like the 70's show he's in. But I thought he was excellent in this movie. Dont know about the uneven acting. I think whoever said that was nit picking.
I haven't heard of this Secret Window thing.. Though I'm a HUGE Depp fan. I'll have to check it out. |

Didn't this movie come and go like 6 months ago? It is old and therfore pass? and it is not cool to talk about it anymore, just like Lord of the Rings.

If you are a johnny depp fan you owe it to yourself to see this movie, it's based off a short story by stephen king. Alucard, have you seen once upon a time in mexico? Depp was really good in that as well.
Also, i don't like that 70's show..i find it very unfunny and boring.

Haha, i also agree. Some of the movies that he stars in *should* be average but because of his performance he makes the movies very entertaining

You're all the same who resemble the lot of people who went to the LOTR movie and once seeing Elrond went OMG AGENT SMITH! Why is it you dont lock on actors in EVERY movie they do? Oh look its 21 jumpstreet man! Oh look its gay person man!! Watch a movie and dont tie it in with others because of the actors. If you are then leave the movie theatre because you wont be able to watch the film seriously. Waste of time.

Yeah!
And the Astronauts Wife sucked balls! Even Depp couldn't save that piece of crap.

I thought "well hello Mr. Anderson..." every time Elrond's face was on the screen, but i still love LOTR :/ It didn't ruin his character for me. Just made me wonder how much cash the guy was raking in that year. Same with Bloom in Pirates and LOTR.
Even though i like ashton kutcher on that 70s show, i was wary of him as a film actor. but i think he proved himself in Butterfly Effect You should give everything a chance. ...I still tend to stay away from movies with J-Lo in them though. But i'll d/l em for free and make fun of them later if i have the time. ^_^

Ashton has probably been in so many bad comedy movies, because people saw him in that 70's show, and thought "that guy can make my movie funny!"
I never even realized that the actor who played Elrond was Agent Smith. Not until someone pointed it out to me. Even after that though, I never thought of or saw Agent Smith when Elrond was on screen. Same goes for Sarumon, who is some bad dude in Star Wars. By the way, when does episode 3 come out? Not that im that excited about it. Just curious why its taking so long to release all 3 movies of a bad trilogy and only 3 years for the best trilogy (LOTR duh).

There are some kick ass parts in the new star wars movies....they just don't convey the sense of mystery or journey that the older one's did.
