pc problems....
after downlaoding some files of kazza, i think some virusus or other worm got installed on my pc. now i am having alot of problems, my pc keep freezing up, whether i am on the internet or doing word document. i think i found the file, but it won't let me uninstalled itself. after doing several search, i found that to uninstall the file, i would nede to be connected online (why the hell do i need to be online to unsintalled it for?), i did, but the damn thing is still there. now, when ever i type in its filename on a search engine, my pc would freeze instantly. its like it dont want to be removed. i ran some spyware software, but it still does nothing. the file i think is called "bts link / hunt bar". any help would be really appreciated.

Here you go son! This is the best and fastest way to get rid of your problem. Also get rid of kazaa and find another method of downloading stuff. Also get a virus scanner and firewall. PC-cillin is the best one. |

u should reformat then get a McAfree Virus Scan cuz i had the same problems before using Kazaa then get hella viruses so once i got McAfree i reformatted it then put it on then had no problems with my computer when i was useing Kazaa. But now i use Kazaa Lite ++ hardly get any Viruses at all. Hope i helped

People (Alucard) says that things on Mozilla don't show up the same as IE. NOT TRUE. I have been using Mozilla for 2 Years now and i have had NO PROBLEMS.

....ok. Anyway! Just go to the link I gave and download ad-aware, and hijack this. Run ad-aware, remove everything, then load up hijackthis, copy the log it gives and put it on the site in the link I gave above. They'll tell you what you need to check and then remove and your system will be perfect again. No need to reformat. Besides, some thing dont go away if you reformat.

Chaos is right, Kazaa Lite is a very nice adware/spyware free client to leech from the Kazaa networks. Even so, I wouldn't recommend downloading ANY executable file from Kazaa, unless you want to risk getting a virus on your system again.
PErsonally Ive been using Kazaa Lite for a year and a half, never had a problem. And yes, RIAA - I download mp3s. LOTS of them. Wanna come to Spain to arrest me? :p |
