Register your console???

I"m just wondering what are the pros and cons of registering your system? who registers there system here and why? thanks.

Well the Pros that I can think of is when you register than game companies will buy that information from the manufacturere and send you free goodies. From registering games and hardware I've received a bunch of free demos and video tapes.

The con is that you are now on a mailing list which means with the good things come the bad. Your name will be sold to anybody and everybody and you will start receiving crap in the mail. Just junk.

I suggest everyone to register their Playstation 2, because I have received a free Playable Demo CD after sending my reg-card!! There's nothing to lose!

i registered my PS2 over a year ago and no i didn't get a free demo disk

but on xbox.com they ask to register my xbox so i'm wondering if i should.

Did you check the box said you want to receive a free demo of Playstation Underground? That's where you get the demo CD from.
