Oh, yah. I forgot this one:
http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/200...,5949,0,0.html Europe / North America release announced for the Sakura Wars series I hope the translators will seriously give thought to including a Japanese dialogue/English subtitles option. |

Chances for ST to be translated are slim, as Anime-ish Dating sims have never done too well outside japan (Examples in question: Thousand Arms and Azure Dreams). I persoanlly always thought that ST is an ideal game to localize into english, as it doesnt have the culture barrier games like Tokimemo have, being set in pre-modern Japan (and ST being set in Paris, even).
Translating it would involve investing a substantial amount of cash into a large cast of voice actors/actresses for a game that is basically an adenture game with a few Battle-sim scenarios at the end of each "chapter", and such a game might not prove too successful, as both turn absed battle sims and Adventure/Dating games are rare and few outside of Asia. Sure, you say, we got Front Mission 3 and Vandal Hearts! Tactics Ogre! Did they do really well? Well enough to warrant a large investment in localizing ST to english? If Sega do go ahead with it, I'll applaud their valor for trying to introduce the genre to the west, but frankly, it seems pretty unlikely. And personally, I shudder at the thought of what kind of voice actors they'd hire. Yuna's voice actress for Shinguji Sakura? Tidus for Oogami? Eek! Ill stick to the Japanese versions. :) |

Well, on the subject of the translated Sakura Taisen, there is some good news in that the creators themselves have stated that they very much want to keep the Japanese voice acting for all versions of the games.

It's been stated that Sakura Taisen 5 (Action) is made for a worldwide release on almost all the sites that's reported all this ST news. On a few sites, they've said that it's planned first, with ST5 coming afterwards, followed by the rest.

It doesn't hurt if Sega makes a pure Sakura Taisen RPG. A RPG has a bigger chance for worldwide release.

The reason they renamed the franchaise to "Sakura Tisen World Project" is because they want to not only give the ST universe a "Global feel" (hence why the games take place in Japan, Paris, NY) but because they are also planning to release possibly several titles overseas.
Im personally curious about ST5. No Oogami?! Argh! I haven't played ST4, but I hope he hasn't been forced into early retirement! He was a pretty cool character. :D |

Woo hoo!!
I don't mind english subtitles one bit. Just bring ST!!!
It's too bad date sims don't sell better. Thousand Arms was a great game though the battle system was weak. I didn't know Aruze Dreams was a date sim.

Is Jasc the same company who made Paint Shop Pro??
Sakura Taisen is not a dating sim, it's a dramatic war sim. |

Did you know that Jasc made big bucks with PSP? Because it's so much user friendlier to average computer users. |

In my opinion, Paint Shop Pro is only for Intermediate users. And I think that Adobe Elements is actually easier to use. Almost all the big websites uses Photoshop. I remember hearing that nine out of ten websites uses some Adobe software. I have Photoshop 7 with Image Ready 7. I can have both open without any slow downs what so ever. I can also be online if I wanted. Windows XP has great Ram mangement. And my computer isn't really a strong computer either. But I never had slowdowns with only having 320 SD Ram.
I've been using Photoshop for almost a year and half now. I guess I'm not a "average PC user" anymore. Is Paint Shop Pro still selling?
