Books
What books are people reading?
What type of books do you read? Right now I'm about halfway through "The Art of Happiness" by the Dalai Lama. It's a very good read, especially for those who are confused by some of the decisons being made of late. Really a good book overall, you'll take so much from it. I don't read much fiction, aside from graphic novels. The last graphic novel I bought was "Batman-The Killing Joke" which was written by Alan Moore. I also read lots of historical commentary books, the last one I read was "Make Love, Not War: The Sexual Revolution" by David Allyn. There are a few books on piracy I've been meaning to pick up as well.

Sorry man, I only read manga.
Currently reading: - Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Raijin Comics ( Fist of the Blue Sky, City Hunter, Baki the Grappler, Slam Dunk, Nemuri Kyoshiro ) - Lupin III Well, atleast Jojo and Lupin can count as graphic novels. Although Jojo I'm reading off the internet ( by the way, it fucking pwns, read it :2happy: ). I am also reading Decameron by Boccacio on literature class. I think we'll soon read The Divine Comedy by Dante in class, which I'll probably enjoy entirely. :2happy: |

I havent been reading of late but the last books I read were the Belgariad and Mallorean series by David Eddings. That was a few months ago and I really need to start reading again
As for what books I like, im not really fussy that much. Anything that can capture my interest Ill read through in a couple of days. Thats how much I love a good book;) EDIT: Silly me, I forgot that I finished the 5th Potter book a week after it came out (in my house for 2 days before I finsihed it) Now youve done it Godless...these people will think youre an idiot now....... Billions and Billions was Carl Sagans last book, right before he died, and It wasnt quite finished I think. Its less technical than his other books and talks about life and what things man will face in the future to survive and all the bad stuff were doing to the planet etc etc. A brief History of time is really good too. It explains things about the universe that normally you would need a Phd in physics to understand. It really sheds light on black holes, light, energy, and the big bang, etc.
