Any thoughts on Gladius?

I like it. It may just be that it has historical and mythological elements. But, I think this is going to turn out well.

For those who haven't heard of the game yet, here is a link.Gladius

Anyone else have an opinion?

It's nice to see an RPG from the west that is turning out pretty good and isn't your standard concept. I played the demo and found it to be enjoyable. One thing I was not wild for were the cut scenes. For an RPG like this one, I would had preferred either cg animation like FF series, or hand drawn animation. I think the style of using the polygon game engine block characters actually detracts from the overall experience and pulls you out of the game.

I haven't play the demo yet. But I have seen movies. The cutscenes don't look too bad, to me anyway. Some cg would have been nice, but I won't complain until I see a finished product.
