New SEGA machine.
Have you ppl heard? they're(new president) discussing a new SEGA system but I think it's highly unlikely. Even if they release the machine it's gonna be like a suicide mission.
you can check it out at spong.com |

Yes, why not release a new console, when there is not one, not two, but three consoles that all sells millions. It would be really good move from Sega to release a new console right now.
No way in hell they can be that stupid. Hurhur! |

This news is pretty old now and since it first came out Sega have totally denied the rumours completely. What happened was Bob Sega or whatever the dudes name is told a reporter that he'd loveto make games on a sega console again and that he'd help make it happen - he didnt say it will happen

I read that news from spong... read Yuji Naka said something about "inorder to realise this possibility, I'm working very hard" oddly enough they delete the info just a few day later...so Sega are only planning, but I still think it's highly unlikely... but then I always thought SNK was forever dead when I heard about their bankrupt, turned out I was wrong. So anything is possible.

I don't think it'll happen in the near future SEGA already have money trouble and can they really compete against the money mountains of MS and Sony look at Nintendo.

i just think the Saturn was ahead of its time, it was the first console to use disks and maybe people were alittle afraid of it.
i would love a new Sega console, the only reason i didn't get Saturn was cause i had a Genisus, i didn't get a DreamCast cause i just got a N64, but now im finally in the times and i have a GCN... sorry a little off topic a new SEGA system would be awesome! |

Ahead of it's time no, it was like the N64 lack of games!! Most of the interesting games on the saturn were unreleased anime games made by SEGA myself's and still didn't released them anywhere but japan...
I only ever manage to find about 6/7 games that I was interested in all the time I owned one (for the short time) |
