Quote:
The Coalition, developer of Gears of War 4, announced that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be coming to the PC.

The Ultimate Edition is a remaster of the original Gears of War with a host of new improvements, including a multiplayer overhaul based on Gears of War 3 multiplayer. It was previously announced for the Xbox One.

The game will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10. If you have a beefy enough gaming PC, you'll be able to play it at 4K resolution. Microsoft also announced that the new Xbox One Elite controller will be compatible with the game. It will launch on August 25 for Xbox One, but Microsoft has yet to announce when the PC version will be released.

So they took the PC version of the first game and are touching it up for $60? Awesome.

You've just described HD ports as a whole there. That said I don't think it'll be full price by the time it gets closer to release.

Not even the Halo Master Chief Collection was full price.

Can't really tell from a screenshot, need to see videos but like other upgraded ports. There is only so much they can do to such an old game.

I think they are using the new unreal engine. They could actually be very flexible with how they handle it if that is correct.
