Need to Build a New PC Thread

For some reason I could not find the thread that had this shit in it. Not my intention to make a new thread. Anyway I want to build a moderately decent pc, but haven't the time to really look into what I need. I got about $600 US to work with. My only requirement is that the video card be able to support dual monitors and diablo 3. Thanks guys.

Oh yeah the $600 goes to the pc, the monitors are a separate expense.

I think that is all you need, this is just me finding decent enough parts to reach around 600 dollars. You can change the parts out to whatever you want, this is more of a so you know what to look for.

You won't be able to get a better video card than a radeon 7770 unless you can get a crappier CPU, But I would leave the CPU, 2500k is great.

But if you have extra parts lying around that you can use, like a HDD or a case and PSU, use them. Will save you quite a bit.

I'm still using old HDDs in my computer and I just buy enclosures to make them into Externals also.

But with this setup, you should be able to play most games on high settings. I usually get a bad 3D card in the beginning, just cause if you wait, you can get the 400 dollar Card for 150 later on in a year or 2.

$600 is a pretty thin budget. I'm assuming you have a case, PSU, etc and just need a motherboard, cpu, and videocard. If so it's doable if you shop around enough.

I would say minimum cpu you should get is an i5 2500k, with a decent cooler so you can overclock. Video card wise it depends on what you want to play and at what resolution. You get what you pay for.

I'd try for a nvidia card myself, because there are always these random issues with ATI cards and certain games. They usually get patched, worked around by the community, but why risk it?

Good luck.

There's some good builds here.

Taken from Neogaf''s PC thread. I built a couple of these Hazaro's PC builds, and they work 110%. It's great for mixing them to fit your budget too.
