Better categories and probably less biased and shitty than the stuff off Spike TV.
I expect it will, but I personally wouldn't want Bastion to win the Indie Game category; behind the amazing graphics and excellent narrative, the gameplay and everything was quite dry and mediocre. Games like Crysis have been slammed for being all about the graphics and having boring gameplay, but hypocritically Bastion isn't affected by this. It should be in Best Visual design, since it's the only thing that can contend with BF3 really. Witcher 2 should be in there too. Other than that, I'm good. Would have liked to see Valve in there for Studio of the Year.

Ohh! I thought they were nominations. Well then, good!
 I'm surprised Uncharted 3 won best Visual Design. It looks good for a console game yeah, but I wouldn't say it's better looking than stuff the PC has. Oh well, I don't disagree with anything there so better than most GOTY shit. Nice to see Zelda winning and COD losing.

I hadn't heard of it either. Nice to see EDGE choosing actual quality over just the most popular titles everyone will have heard of. I'll give it a look sometime. Only £7 on Steam, and I do love supporting Indie devs.

The only one I question is Ubisoft as publisher of the year. They are awful.

They might have annoyed PC Gamers a bit, but for console players especially they did release quite a few good games this year so I think they aren't undeserving of being up there.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Driver: San Fancisco, Child Of Eden, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, Outland, From Dust and Might + Magic: Clash Of Heroes were all pretty good games. Plus they did Rayman Origins which is meant to very good.
