GoG rpg sale

Hurry up and get it if you've never played these games before. Get all of them or get a couple, whatever you like. Love that the Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Night games come with their expansions. And if you've never played Planescape Torment before you really need to. The games are pretty cheap, but considering these are some of the best rpgs ever made that will run even on an xbox powered pc, its hard to say no. Also some of these games have a shitload of mods now days, especially the super cool widescreen mod for Planescape Torment. Seriously, check it out-

Click for full size

Anyway link is below. Hurry up cause the deal ends very soon. I might buy all of them again just to give them a second playthrough.

Well there was a little shopping spree for me lololol. Grabbed that pack and some extra ones.. Castles 1 +2, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, My deliciously beloved Outcast, Realms of Arkania 1+2, and Star Control 1+2. That should be good enough for a while. Love this place so much.

I already have most of those and it doesn't lower the price on the games I already own cause you have to buy the pack

But when the hell is Flashback coming out! I WANT FLASHBACKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

I own a few of them too but would rather have a download version thats patched and up to date and configured to not go stupid with win7. Plus its way easier then searching through my old games pile.

Man, how come PC titles look so neat and cool, as if there's a hundred different things going on at once?

PC Games are awesome, I've always loved PC games more than console games.

It's just something about them that makes them awesome. especially the games from the 90s.

PC gamers can handle complexity...they look at it like a challenge. Console games look at complexity as work. [/troll]

Can you imagine a console gamer trying to play baldurs gate, star Control, or Castles? No hand holding, they'd probably implode.

PC gamers have one huge advantage over console gamers, besides their ability to upgrade: backward compatibility. Literally every older game can still be played on the PC platform. Sure, it's not a console but...

Speaking of which, I think MS should build their next console with PC compatibility. Not gonna happen, I know, but they'd begin the next console war with a tremendous advanatge by having a preexisting library of games availbale from the get-go. (You'd need to hook up your keyboard/mouse for a lot of stuff but that's not exactly difficult to do.)

Its difficult. Asking a console gamer to play with a k/m setup is like watching someone with parkinsons try to juggle. They cant do it. Its too alien to them. And I know hardly ANY who would try to adapt to it when they can easily just switch back to controller.

I've tried PC gaming various times in the past and it wasn't as convoluted or difficult as people make it out to be. Civilization, Diablo, Ultima, etc. Sure, they tend to be more involved than your average console game but have greatly expanded gameplay/strategic possibilities.

Your avatar looks more and more like a butt plug everyday I know you.

On that note, imagine being put in front of a controller with about 30 differant buttons. That's pretty much what the mouse and keyboard looks like to an outsider. Controllers on the face of it just look more friendly, and a lot more simple.
