Well Suikoden DS was better then IV/V I don't mind eitherway but seeing as it's on the original PSP and from Konami doubt it'll see a release outside Japan anyway.

Nope. Why would I when it was obviously developed to be an original IP, and Konami just slapped the Suikoden name on it to make a quick buck.

Combine that with the shit voice acting, and it shows they really don't give a shit about the series. Just like Silent Hill, it's a way for them to make a quick buck.

Konami have announced a new Suikoden game for the PSP. It doesn’t appear to be related to the main series as it doesn’t have a number on it. The game is titled Genso Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century. The game is “a new story about a hundred worlds, a hundred years later”. Here’s a trailer:

The Woven Web of a Century was announced while Konami discussed Frontier Gate at Tokyo Game Show. Last we heard, Konami hired Tri-Ace to develop that game because their Suikoden team had disbanded. Osamu Komuta, director of Suikoden Tierkreis, is the director of Frontier Gate, but we don’t know if Tri-Ace are developing both games.

TRI-ACE?!?!

Oh dear. That says it all really I guess.

Anyway Tri-ace can be hit or miss but they have a pretty good track record. Though they don't make many turn-based RPGS and do more action RPGS.

Tierkreis is actually a good game, nowhere near as good as Suikoden V mind you but playable. This game will most probably be another Tierkreis since it hasn't got a "VI" in the end

I hope the game will suck, because this game will most probably not get a release outside of Japan.

All this talk of Suikoden makes me want to beat Suikoden II for the millionth time....guess I must.

The game had nothing to do with the series other than having the name slapped on it. Why the fuck would I want to play it.

and i sure as hell would at least play one of them before i hate on it ..
