Yeah again, I didnt say I dont like it. The game looks good. Its just not syndicate. I'll put the question to you again.. Would you be happy if every single game you like was made into an fps and thats all you had a choice of. Zelda fps, Mario fps, ico fps, final fantasy fps, dragon quest fps. This is what I'm referring to.

Also resident evil 5 was pure and utter shit.

There is actually already a First Person Dragon Quest game and it didn't take anything away from the games before or after it. Honestly if they wanted to try something with any series it wouldn't bother me because there nothing to say everygame after that would be the same aswell.

They own the rights of their own game so they can do whatever they like. Games like fallout for example since bethesda didnt make the series, after buying it they wanted to go mainstream. Thats one game that will never be turn based again. Same goes for syndicate. Just curious Esca, did you ever play the Syndicate games?

Syndicate Wars on the PsOne yes I played it. Mainly in co-op. One of the first games I played in multiplayer in fact. Never finished it though can't remember why I think we got stuck somewhere is was along time ago before I "really" got into gaming.

On one hand you're right, but the problem is that if they make money with the new "revamped" version, they're going to continue with that because they have no need to go back to the old style.

Also, what's the difference between Syndicate and Syndicate Wars?

Syndicate is the original on the Snes/Genesis I haven't really played that one much just a quick fiddle on the Emulator. Syndicate Wars is the sequel on the Psone/PC.

It wasn't much of a RTS on the Psone more like a third person shooter from what I remember it's been along time I was only 12/13 when I played it.

Syndicate came out on the Amiga in 93, from the legends Bullfrog. They made so many awesome games. Heres a clip with the whole intro and then some gameplay.

Come to think of it they made 5 FPS' for Resident Evil with very mixed results.

Thats only because japanese cant make fps games. If they could you would see resident evil fps only because thats the only type of game console gamers play.

Actually, I was trying to be a smartass but I submit that Silent Scope, Time Crisis, Gun Blade and LA Machineguns are all FPSes.
