They still screwed it up, and after making Origins so good.

I'm not a fan of Star Wars itself so this'll need some dang good gameplay for me to play it. Developer said 200+ hours of gameplay for each class.

CAta is ace ..mainly due to the cracked up difficulty level .. I have read mixed things about this. Rebel fm guys were not that impressed

Posting in this thread to say WoW is dog shit. Gather/buy mats for 2 hours then raid until your lockouts are done and rinse, repeat. So fucking boring and pvp isn't much better. It's the same old bullshit since everquest, just refined. Hopefully GW2 can get me back into mmo's.

Not disagreeing but the shit it does right, goes unappreciated. Having tried other MMOs, the feel of them just feels like utter shit to me, whereas the balance of the 'shit' in WoW just happens to get it right "movement, environment and feel of the world." Though it is counter intuitive because you have to get to the max level to appreciate what the MMO truly offers and by then you feel like there is not enough content is coming out in time. But even so it is the King of the Hill of shit right now just because of the things it gets right. Also Cata streamlined alot of the shit to get that shit right so it's less shitty, but contains more of the same old shit.

Even so, Guild Wars guys are ex-Blizzard dudes and I am looking forward to that as well.

If youre realistic and have tried other MMO's you can tell that SW:ToR is the only MMO with a chance of facing WoW in the ammount of content generated. I think beeing an WoW clone with storyline is actually a good thing since its easier for players to swap over without feeling like everything is overcomplicated and not intuitive.
I very much hope SW:ToR can be as good as WoW so i can finally ditch blizzard for treating their customers like they're idiots. Blizzard is a very stubburn developer and the WoW is very stale at this time. Only new patches with new raids give you something worthwhile to do. Everything else is a grind towards that purpose. They needs to come up with new ideas.

I know arenanet due to the years i played GW and i know GW2 will be fun, yet it wont have much end-game content nor will they develop more at the rate blizzard does. So the game, doesnt really hold a chance of challenging WoW more than the first GW did.

The dark horse for me is TERA. I know they wont have much sucess cause its beeing developed by a korean studio and the patch content will come slowly but the game has incredibly good ideas in both the combat and the political system, wich is something all MMO's will end up copying. Its a great system to keep the game world filled with drama/competition.

Its like its a complete clone. Quite a few people int he beta playing saying its very good. Shitloads of story content. Must play.

I saw a video recently of some combat...looks really bad, but who knows. It's coming out at the end of the year right? Won't be long before we know. I just hope it's more sand box oriented vs. theme park...if it's anything like SW:G pre NGE with KOTOR/ME like story elements it will be sick regardless.
