The videos look alot better then the screenshots, seems like they got rid of a lot of the darkness though. Don't really need the torch anymore.

I still don't understand why they removed some of the textures. We'll see....I'm still keeping my eyes out on this once but the signs have been pretty negative so far. I was hoping for something along the lines of the MGS HD caliber.

Here's a question. Why is it, in MGS 2, the node information has been changed? You can't put your birth year in, and it doesn't ask for your full name, only your nick name. Seems odd.

Hah yeah right.

I'm on quite a few different video game boards and I can tell you that those reviews have for sure influenced people to stay far far away from Downpour, even though the truth is it's a pretty good game. Reviewers have a huge influence on people buying games or not even though some don't like to admit it. You can even see it here on the "what games have you beaten in 2012" thread where there's a few "did it really deserve a 3 out of 10?" posts.

Fuck you IGN.

Thats pretty much a given since the beggining of this gen.

They review technology, they dont review if the game is enjoyable or not.

I don't know why people care so much. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and it's sitting on basically a 7/10 right now on Metacritic, which I say is about right from what I've played so far, maybe a 6/10, so why are we all fussing about one review which we all disagree with?

IGN gave it a 4.5/10, not a 3, and is the only 'red' review score on Metacritic.
