i agree .. i thought witcher2 played better with a pad. as i'm 99% sure the game was written with a console port in mind and thus built around a pad.

You don't need to register to play the game. You do if ou want the xtra content and mass effect 3 armour, nothing new tbh with RPGs.

Yeah...if we were going to go by which system has the most exclusives, pc would obliterate all the consoles put together in terms of numbers.

Yeah PC has the most exclusives by far, they're just not as advertised as the console ones always are, that's really all it is. You're not going to get a Kingdom of Amalur advert on TV like you do with Halo and Uncharted after all. Company of Heroes 2 is in development; that's going to fucking awesome, but as a PC exclusive it won't get much exposure bar news posts on websites and Steam announcements.

Ah well. I buy so much stuff off Steam that I'm relatively fine with one-time online authentications. Only get the occasional boxed copy for new releases when I want to save £10. It's not an ideal solution, but there's worse anti-piracy measures out there.

I dont mind the one time authentication. ITs other games that require you to always be online. I cant load up BF3 in single player because the online thing seems to ignore it. So I can only play multiplayer. Sure thats all I want to play, but I paid for it and I sort of wouldnt mind seeing the single player mode. You know.. Cause I PAID for it. Fucking origin.

I would argue that between the DS and the PSP, they have just as many exclusives. Good ones too.

hay i'm not saying pc doesnt have great exclusives, i'm saying exclusives people care about in the majority, christ i should know i'll be spending 90% of my gaming .. i mean hell pc has probably 2 of the biggest ex titles this year Diablo 3 and the next WoW ex pack, and chuck Guild wars 2 into that mix as well .. .. BUT it also has a zillion things like Hotel Emporium, andy pandy and big ears drive to town which no one gives a poops about.

Well thats the thing, you're saying people care about, but you're only listing console gamers in this care section, mainly because all they know is COD and halo and little else. If its not advertised to hell they dont know about it. If COD had stayed a pc exclusive, they wouldnt know what it was. Same goes for Halo. Once you throw Gears of Snore into the pile what do you have left on the xbox thats exclusive and worth owning? Very little. You make a list of quality games on each side, not what douche dave is looking forward to, and the list is staggering. Throw in the indie scene and fuck that. If half those games had capcom or square listed as a dev/publisher, the console kiddies would be boasting about them on xboxlive.
