BurgerTime is Coming out in HD!

BurgerTime HD certainly fits MonkeyPaw's mission to remake and localize Japanese games from the past and present. The original game is a sort of munchies-induced nightmare: Chef Peter Pepper must try to escape the homicidal Mr. Egg, Mr. Hot Dog and Mr. Pickle, while attempting to assemble giant hamburgers. (There's definitely a thesis on food existentialism buried somewhere in there.)

We've contacted MonkeyPaw for more information on BurgerTime HD.

For some reason I never played the original. I don't think it had much staying power or it would've been rereleased more often.

Never played the original but I did have a game on the Commodore 64 called Burger Chase which may aswell have been.

My brother was the master at this game and MR DO!. He could turn both these games around.

I still have Burger Time, but unfortunately my NES doesn't work anymore.

I hope it is high-resolution 2D artwork and not polygons. But you know it will be polygons because those are crazy-easy to do and take no effort. 2D requires some artistic skill.

Ya, Mr. Do was great. Jeff Minter should do Mr. Do CE, it would be awesome.

Burger Time was a solid classic, but not quite up there with Ms. Pac Man, Centipede, Time Pilot, Gyruss, Donkey Kong and the Mr. Do's of the world.
