I want to get one bc I got a $50 gift card from amazon and a $40 for Best Buy. I was thinking about preordering it from Amazon, but I still dont know. All this talk about the PSP2 has me wanting to wait, but I'd love to have me a 3DS.

Gamestop has a trade in 5 games or a DS XL and get 125 dollars off the 3ds.

Pretty good deal. I'm going to trade in the XL I got for free for the credit towards it.

I called them and they said $50 for a DS Lite, $75 for a DSi, and $100 for a DSXL. No game deals. Oh well.

Trading in an XL for 125$ sounds like a really bad deal to me.

Gamestop always has qualifiers on their trade in deals because people like me ruined it for everyone else. I remember when they had the "trade any 2 wii games & get a Wii game free" deal. I traded 6 copies of Far Cry Wii and Open Season Wii to nab myself 3 brand new games for $60.

Most likely, even if I say no know by the time 25th March comes around I doubt I'd manage to resist.

Plus the unit won't be dropping in price anytime soon so $250 (or whatever the euro-rape price is) now is the same as $250 later.

For that reason we may get one day one despite there being no real launch games I really want. I am interested in Pilotwings but that's not the kind of game I'd rush out and buy a $250 handheld for. I would however buy one for the new RE game, Ocarina of Time, Layton vs Phoenix, and so on. Since those games are almost certainly coming before a price drop we might as well buy a 3DS now and enjoy it rather than wait.

Has the US launch lineup even been announced yet? Super Monkey Ball always needs to be a launch game. Once again, I'm sure it will suck. Why can't they make 'em as good as the Gamecube versions?

Can't really see the US line-up being any different from the Euro line-up, there isn't really anything else that could be included.
