Today is the date of Lisa Simpson's wedding
 I guess back in 1995, they assumed the Simpsons wouldn't still be relevant today. in before joke responses to that comment

If it were the real world she'd be getting married. However, they seemed to be trapped in alternate reality where time never advances, or so it seems.

Well, now it needs to explain these questions of mine that just came in:
What about other towns outside of Springfield that are always mention, like Shelbyvile and Capitol City? What about the five corners that were mentioned in the last Simpson episode? What about former president Gerald Ford? Is he really alive in that house across the street this whole time? How about Ned's whole family? His cousin (along with his family), just moved in right next door on the left of the Simpson's house. What about Homer's half brother, who never came back? Did he change over the past 20 years? What about the people who they never mention again? Do they die off, like Homer's Vegas wife? Or do they hide away secretly, like Hank Scorpio? There's a lot more questions on the list that I have after all of these years of watching this show. |
