"..., present events in a novel way." and "We've mostly done away with quests entailing a lot of running around and delivering items to people."

If this holds true, it will be great. Need to find my Witcher saves.

I'm playing the first one right now. Just got to the second chapter. That damn Beast gave me some trouble.

Hmmm...it seems that they addressed the problems with the first game for the second. I shall approach this like many members here did for Assassin's Creed 2.

Nah, I'm just fucking with you. I'm excited now. I'll give Witcher 2 a try.

I didn't have a problem with the first game's quests at all.

...And I think I lost my save file when my external hard drive broke, darn it.

All WRPGs have problems with such trailing quests. Well, most of them, at least current ones and those I like. But they don't annoy me that much.

I'm more interested in the narrative, getting the same feeling as a well-written fantasy book.

Bad news: No more collecting cards of the ladies! Still has the adult situations though.

I thought the vid-demo looked good. CD Projekt built their own fighting engine and render program.

Man, I want the collector's edition but I gotta buy it on Steam. Darn that addictively awesome digital distribution.

Heres a new clip of the new gameplay they've gone with. I've got no problem with making it a little more action-like instead of click-like. One thing I notice is the 'X' that appears at the bottom of the screen when it says to do something. Chances are this one will definitely be on the consoles at some point so maybe this thread should be moved.
