I like She Hulk but I was hoping for Ms. Marvel, I love me some Carol Danvers!

but DLC? oh fuck, here it comes! NOBODY BUY THEM! you know they will make a update retail version to include all of them into the game.

Capcom did it with every other game they've made, they will do it again. RE5 for example.

If there is one thing Capcom did right for Zero is make him not suck in X4, X6, SVC: Chaos and TatsuCap. Zero has always been very impractical in nearly every Megaman title title he's been in and broken in the VS games. Yes, I don't like Zero or the blind fan base for him either, he might look cool but he definitely isn't as useful as he should be.

Eh, Besides the SVC: Chaos, Tatsu vs Cap, and the upcoming MVC3....what other Vs. game has been in? Wait..are you saying he was broken in those Vs. games as well? I'm confused.

While RE 5 is a great example, I think you're wrong here, for multiple reasons.

1. Resident Evil 5 is about the ONLY example, and there wasn't a single bit that was in the Gold Edition that wasn't also buyable via DLC. Plus I don't think Capcom itself knew what it was doing there, as it seems to be very new to the whole DLC craze.

2. I don't know what kind of deal Capcom has with Marvel, but depending on the deal I wouldn't be surprised if they have to pay Marvel everytime they make a new game, be it to re-license all those characters or for royalty purposes. It may work out better for Capcom to just put up the DLC characters and release a sequel a few years down the line.

I'm fine with She-Hulk's inclusion. Though her powers aren't too different from Hulk's, her personality definitely is. It's the same thing with Spider-Woman. In spite of her name, she doesn't have much else in common with Spider-Man at all, and even disdains the comparisons.

It's Arthur and Jill that really have me stoked, though. I remember the GnG games more for their infuriating difficulty than anything else, but I still consider them a part of my childhood, and I like Arthur the goofy but stalwart knight character. As for Jill, she was a main in MVC 2, and be it RE 5 Jill or RE 1 Jill, it's still Jill to me either way.

For those not in the know, a picture was shown for a Capcom halloween party that showed Mike Haggar's character model on a computer screen. So that pretty much unintentionally confirms Haggar, unless it's for something else. I for one am VERY stoked about that. Final Fight was my first SNES game that wasn't Super Mario World, and you can bet I'll be piledriving fools with him come February.

Super Street Fighter 4 would have just been DLC but they changed the game too much for it to be just DLC. I'm expecting another release of it when the arcade version is all done and finshed.

but you're right they have to buy a new license from Marvel everytime they want a new game.

Activision has a bit more rights to do what they want cause they paid to use the characters whenever they want.

Hell, at this point, Akuma and Mbison are looking less and less likely. It might be how Ryu was in MVC1 where you could do moves to change his moveset to one of the other shoto characters.

hell there is a fairly accurate leak list around (its been right for the last chunk of reveals, with some specifics to boot) Akuma, Hagger, Hisen-ko, Sentinel, Taskmaster and Phoenix are all that are missing from it being 100% so who knows

Of course this is from the same person who said that Haggar and Pheonix would be shown on SRK's live stream last night. They weren't.
