No... NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Keep Kid Icarus (Pit) and all the other characters and enemies in glorious high-res 2D and make all the backgrounds 3D but make it all look 2D. Read my section in GameCube discussions - Fav Nintendo Character to see what I mean. |

So nice! So nice! Magic Box already has a collection of shots from Aria of Sorrow. MAN! Does Konami know how to make a great GBA game! I'm hoping that the new Castlevania is still 2D and is on GC or X-Box because PS2 already got SOTN. Or, they can put it on all 3 systems and make a fortune

I actually hope they do with the Next-Gen Castlevania something similar to what they did with Contra. A 3D engine with a 2D persective. There are just SO many nice lighting and ambient effects that could be done to enhance Castlevania's atmosphere that couldnt be done in 2D.
Mm, is it e3 waiting time again? Seems like it was only yesterdday when we were waiting for e3 '02. Time flies. Except when you wait. ;) |
